Welcome.
Hi, I’m Bente, and my passion lies in capturing the essence of architecture and structures within the urban landscape through photography.
My work is deeply inspired by the Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, which embraces the beauty of impermanence, imperfection, and incompleteness. While wabi-sabi traditionally applies to nature, I use it as a lens to view the structural, geometric, and rigid elements of urban environments.
Feel free to explore my projects and portfolio. I’d love to hear from you, whether it’s for a chat, comments, or questions
"Wabi-sabi demotes the role of the intellect and promotes an intuitive feel for life where relationships between people and their environments should be harmonious. By embodying the spirit to remind itself of its own mortality, it can elevate the quality of human life in a world that is fast losing its spirituality.” Andrew Juniper
